Today’s exhortation – a blessed week
As we go through this week, things may occur that cause us to have fear, anxiety, stress, etc but let’s remember that we have a Saviour and we are told not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7).
We are also told to cast the whole of our care [all our anxieties, all our worries, all our concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for us affectionately and cares about us watchfully. (1 Peter 5:7 AMP). Whenever anything comes to rob our peace, let’s run quickly to The Lord. It’s in His strength and might that we stand, not ours. The Lord is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Have a blessed week and may The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26). Amen
