Today’s exhortation – God’s little finger

I read a story about a lady in the United States who, after she received Jesus into her heart and was saved, sang happily, “Once saved, forever saved.” Another Christian asked her, “This is what you sing. But can you guarantee that you will go to heaven?” She then recited these words spoken by The Lord Jesus to him, “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.” (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭28-29).

The man said, “That is right. But you had better not be so sure. You should know that the bigger the hand, the larger the hole through which you can fall.” She answered, “No, I will never be leaked out because I am God’s little finger!” I say that’s right! If you accept Jesus into your heart today, I can promise you that He will never let you go. I know this because He’s never let me go. He says, All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. (‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭37‬) Amen.
