Today’s exhortation – God hasn’t forgotten us

I used to think that becoming a Christian meant that you won’t experience that many problems because you are God’s child. But the closer I have gotten to The Lord, the more I have realised that it’s quite the contrary. Somehow the closer we get to Him, the more our troubles seem to increase. So many of us are going through very difficult times at the moment which doesn’t make sense because we’ve never fasted or prayed as much as we are doing now. It makes us question whether we are doing the right thing.

We see those who cheat and take short cuts prospering. So the real question is, ‘is it worth it?’ The answer is yes! The bible says, God is fair. He won’t forget what you’ve done or the love you’ve shown for Him… (‭Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬). He won’t forget all the sacrifices we’ve made for the Name of Jesus. But as Jesus said, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also… (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭20‬). Therefore it’s not strange that we’re going through as we’re now, so let’s count it all joy! Don’t give up sister! don’t give up brother! Be strong in The Lord and in the power of His might. Amen!
