Today’s exhortation – God will restore

As we go through this life, we’ll meet people who will cheat us and steal things from us but we mustn’t despair, our God is a God of justice. The bible says righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne. If you’ve been wronged or stolen from, cry out to God for justice and He’ll restore what’s your’s. The bible tells us that Jacob, saw a woman called Rachel whom he really loved and he was told he had to work seven years for her father in order to take her as his wife. After working the seven years, he was tricked and made to marry her sister Leah. So he worked another seven years so he could marry Rachael.

Both Leah and Rachael bore Jacob children but by the time Rachael had her first son, Jacob had ten sons. But I believe God counted Rachel’s first son Joseph who was Jacob’s eleventh son as the first born and made him ruler over his brothers. Neither Rachel nor Jacob lost out in the end. God allowed everything to happen, but put things in their proper order. Have faith in God, He will restore onto you what’s rightfully yours. He says, “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm…”(‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬) Have a blessed week. Amen
