Today’s exhortation – it’s already there

I often pray for big things and expect to receive them in the size I have asked for, but The Lord impressed on me that He has already given me some of those things in the form of seeds and they need to be planted and nurtured. In time, I will harvest more from the seed than I asked for. He likened it to the parable of the mustard seed: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭31-32‬)

Eg. We may be asking The Lord for wealth when He has given us ideas to make wealth. We may need a lot of money so He tells us to sow a seed by giving the little we’ve to someone who needs it more than us. Most seeds look nothing like their trees. They may be very small like the mustard seed, but when fully grown, become big trees. The Lord took a little boy’s lunch of five loaves and two fishes and fed over 5000 with it. We may have little but in the right hands they can become very much. May The Lord give us wisdom and discernment to see what seeds we’ve to plant. God bless you. Amen
