Today’s exhortation – waiting patiently

We all know that God can easily answer our prayers straight away so it becomes a struggle when He doesn’t. We look at time and become worried, but I believe God waits till we are mature enough to handle what He has for us or what we asked for. Moses was born to lead, but had to wait till he was 80 years old before God used him. Joseph was shown in dreams he will be a leader but became a slave first. Then he was in prison for 10years for something he didn’t do but in a moment he went from prisoner to prime minister of a nation he wasn’t even a citizen of.

David waited 15 years to become king after he was anointed. He wrote, I WAITED patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1). The bible says, all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. In other words, if things aren’t good, then they haven’t worked out yet. God is not slack concerning His promise as some men consider slackness. If He said it, He will do it! Amen
