Today’s exhortation – don’t fear death!

Death is the most democratic process in the world because we all participate. Sooner or later, we will cast our vote. However, I believe a Christian is not to fear death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬). Death is not the end for us. Man is a spirit with a soul(mind, intellect, emotions) that lives in a body. When we die, it’s the body that dies but our spirit lives on. When a person dies in Christ, they are instantly transported into the presence of God where the bible says, in His presence is the fullness of joy! In other words, instant death, instant glory! Hallelujah!

Let me reveal to you a wonderful mystery: We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? ” (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭51-55‬). Hallelujah! Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen!
