Today’s exhortation – Daddy wishes to speak with you

When we were kids, most of us spoke to our parents daily because we were dependent on them. But now that we are older, how many of us still speak to them that often? If we are being honest we don’t anymore because we don’t need them as much. Unfortunately, most of us only speak to God when we are in trouble or need Him, but He wants to be involved in everything we do. The bible tells us to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He shall direct our paths (Proverbs 3:6).

Why would He make it so that we are in constant need of Him? It’s so that we might have constant fellowship with Him. The bible also says, pray without ceasing and that can be translated as speak to God all the time. If you haven’t prayed today, please do so, God’s missing you. Amen
