Today’s exhortation – time for action
I believe there’re times we may still be praying for things God has already said “yes” to and whilst we are waiting on Him, He’s also waiting for us to move and act. There are also times we pray for things knowing full well what God’s will is in the matter. When Moses and the children of Israel left Egypt, they were pursued by Pharaoh and his army to take them back as slaves. The people became trapped by the vast Red Sea before them and the Egyptian army behind them. They became very afraid and complained to Moses. He encouraged them and gave a big speech about trusting The LORD.
The next thing the bible says is, And the LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”(Exodus 14:13-16). I believe God asked him why was he crying to Him because He had already given Moses the power to change the situation. There’s a time for action and a time for crying. Maybe it’s time to move forward and act because God has already given you the power to change your circumstance. Amen
