Today’s exhortation – good attitude
The word of God says, For as he thinks within himself, so he is… (Proverbs 23:7). In other words, a man’s mental attitude tells us who he is. A great teacher once said, “a good mental attitude is better than mental ability.” What we put into life is what we will receive from it. A negative attitude will only reap negativity and likewise a positive attitude will reap positivity. As the bible says, whatsoever a man sows, so shall he reap. We can’t sow mangos and expect to reap pineapples. A good mental attitude will say I can’t control how people will act towards me, but I’m going to love them regardless.
If we want to have a good day, then we must decree it and decide come what may, we will give thanks and praises to God and will maintain an attitude of thanksgiving. Sometimes, we may see someone approaching us with a frown on their face, but as soon as we smile at them, they smile back. If we want friends, then the bible says, A man who has friends must himself be friendly… (Proverbs 18:24 NKJV). If we want love, then we must first love. If we want forgiveness, then we must first learn to forgive. “Do for other people everything you want them to do for you. (Luke 6:31). Amen
