Today’s exhortation – carry me

There was an evangelist who’s little girl was disabled and could only get around on crutches. This evangelist travelled frequently and most times he returned home with presents. One day he returned home with a present for his wife and when he opened the front door, his daughter was there. She told her dad she wanted to go give her mother the present. The evangelist saw that it would be impossible for his daughter to carry the present so he tried to dissuade her. She was very persistent so he relented and gave her the present. Once she had the present in her hand, she looked up at her dad and said, “now dad, please carry me to mummy”

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭28-29‬). If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬). Have a blessed week. Amen
