Today’s exhortation – get them out!

There are some people we shouldn’t have in our lives because of their negativity and unbelief. When Jesus went to a house to raise a girl from the dead, He said to those there, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. He put them all outside… (Mark 5:39, 40). When God spoke life into the situation by saying the girl was not dead but sleeping, the unbelieving people ridiculed Him. I believe The Lord kicked them out because faith and fear cannot coexist.

If you are waiting on God for something, you may need to remove negative and unbelieving people from your home/life. They may mean well but their actions may hinder the work of God in your life. When you invite God into your house, be prepared to have some friends removed from your life because of their negative influence. God can’t have them around if He is to bring life into your home, family, and especially your walk with Him. The bible says, But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. (Matthew 9:25). May God give us the boldness to remove such people from our lives when we have to. Amen
