Today’s exhortation – peace of mind
I want to tell you that whatever you are going through today, this too shall pass! We have all been through situations which seemed like the biggest deal in the world at the time, but when we look back now they seem like nothing. But if God came through for us then, He will come through for us now. The bible says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7).
It’s my prayer that you have the peace of God which surpasses all understanding. What does that look like? I would say it’s the kind where people look at you and knowing all the trouble and madness in your life and expecting you to crumble, see you still smiling and praising God. In order words, the way you are dealing with adversity doesn’t make sense. It looks like you are in denial, but on the contrary, you know whom you have believed. His word never fails because He watches over His word to perform it. His never late, He’s always on time. It’s also my prayer that peace like a river flows of your soul in Jesus Name. Amen
