Today’s exhortation – forgiveness is a must

Every living thing has a mechanism to excrete toxic and waste products. If they’re not, the body becomes clogged and it breaks down or becomes ineffective. We all know what constipation or poison do to the human body and yet there’s something far worse going on in the body of Christ and that is being offended and un-forgiveness. These are negative and toxic things which are contrary to our nature so they have to come out! Many people are sick in their bodies because of these toxic emotions.

The scientists tell us that negative emotions like hate, being offended, anxiety, fear (excluding the fear of God) etc reduce the ability of the body to combat illnesses. How do we let them out? The outlet God created for our souls to release these toxins are found in forgiveness and the fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22-23‬). We can’t escape being offended, but we don’t have to give it a place in our hearts. Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. (‭3 John‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬). We are designed to love not to hate. We need to be free in body and soul. Amen
