Today’s exhortation – We have hope

One can easily feel abandoned by The Lord in moments of difficulties. In the heat of it, it may seem like God doesn’t hear us or if He does, He is not willing to help. On the contrary, The LORD is good to everyone and has compassion for everything that He has made. (‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭9‬). The LORD is near to everyone who prays to Him, to every faithful person who prays to Him. (‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭18‬). At such a point in Paul the apostle’s life, he boldly stated “That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.” (2 Timothy 1:12).

We too have given our lives to Christ and can trust that He is able to keep what we have entrust to Him. Indeed He’s been there for us more times than we can count! Therefore, though we walk in the midst of trouble, He will revive us; The Lord will perfect that which concerns us…He will not forsake the works of His hands. (Psalms 138:7, 8). If you are waiting for answers to prayers for healing, financial help, a partner, deliverance for a family member etc hold on! He hasn’t and won’t abandon you. Never! He fills the needs of those who fear Him. He hears their cries for help and saves them. (‭Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭19‬). Amen
