Today’s Exhortation – God please help me carry my burdens

I’ve found myself occasionally praying and asking God to help me carry my problems, but that’s not what He’s asking us to do. The bible says, Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps. 55:22.](1 Peter 5:7 AMP). He’s asking specifically that we cast ALL our anxieties, worries and concerns, ONCE and for ALL! When I read that I was like okay, “That’s good Lord, but how? This is too hard for me to do.” Having said that, being too hard to do doesn’t make it impossible to do.

God’s just and kind and won’t ask us to do something we can’t do. In love and mercy, He has given us Holy Spirit to help us do what’s too hard to do. To demonstrate to us to not worry, The Lord said, “Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?.. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith?”(Matthew 6:26, 30). God please help us to really cast all our concerns, worries and anxieties onto You, for we can’t do anything without You. Amen
