Today’s exhortation – God loves you.

I believe the message I am to share today is this, God loves you! In the life study of Abraham, what’s been abundantly clear is that it was God who first reached out to Abraham. Before The Lord called Abraham, he lived amongst a people who worshipped idols and had no regard for God. Similarly, anyone who’s a Christian was at one point like Abraham, had no regard for God. It was He who chose us, we didn’t choose Him! If He waited for us to choose Him, we would have never chosen Him. Before Abraham ever called upon God’s Name, God loved him and likewise before we ever called on Him, He loved us and predestined us to be His sons and daughters.

Whether we feel far away from God or feel unclean or unworthy, none of those emotions change the immutable fact that He loves us. The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to say, For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭38-39‬). If you don’t get anything out of this message, get this, God loves you and there’s nothing anybody can do about it. Have a blessed week.
