Today’s exhortation – nothing’s impossible

Is there anything too hard for The Lord? That was the question The Lord asked Abraham when Sarah doubted it was possible to have a son. So far, it had been a very long wait and her current circumstances dictated that it was impossible for the promise to come to pass. I also want to ask “Is there anything too hard for The Lord?” Is it impossible for Him to heal us when the doctor has said we are beyond recovery? Is it impossible for Him to meet our need for money, partner, job or the restoration of our family?

The Lord said, “Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (‭Genesis‬ ‭18‬:‭14‬). There’s an appointed time to the fulfilment of our promises so if it hasn’t happened yet, then it’s on the way. Satan will come to us with words like “it’s not going to happen” or “oh God’s forgotten about you, it’s too late!” I believe our response to him should be, “I don’t mind waiting on The Lord! He who has promised is faithful and true and nothing is impossible for Him.” At the appointed time, Sarah had her son and the appointed time we will get our answer. As sure as there’s day and night, so are the fulfilment of His words. Amen! Have a blessed week.
