Today’s exhortation – Yes He can!

At the beginning of Abram’s story, we read that The Lord appeared to him and told him to leave his people to go to a land which was far away and one he didn’t know. The Lord then promised to make him a father of many nations. But at the time he received this promise his wife was past child bearing age and she was also barren. The reality of his life completely spoke against the possibility of any of the promises of God coming to pass. But I believe that’s the rich soil in which God plants His miracles, yes it’s in the impossible situations in our lives.

Your life may be far from what God promised, but don’t look at it, stand on His promises. They are as good as done! He took an old man and barren old lady and made a nation out of them. No matter how impossible your situation looks, this should fill you with hope for God’s more than able to do the impossible with your’s too. Let’s not be afraid to take God at His word. “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (‭Numbers‬ ‭23‬:‭19‬) Abram believed and stepped out! Let’s step out in faith at His word. Amen!
