Today’s exhortation – never too old

I want to look at Abraham’s story as a life study and hope we can learn something from it. The first thing I believe we can learn is that you are never too old to be used by God. Abram was 75years old when The LORD said to him: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (‭Genesis‬ ‭12‬:‭1-3‬)

He also said, ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. (‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬). I believe we are in the last days and God wants to use all of us, both you and old. He’s looking for people who are willing to step out in faith into the unknown with Him and say here I’m Lord you can use me. As we will see in Abraham’s case the rewards are exceedingly great. He will make your impossible dreams come true so that all will know that He is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. God needs you! Have a blessed week.
