Today’s exhortation – Happy new year
It’s safe to say that we’ve made it through 2015 and so we give all the glory to God for seeing us through. We give thanks to God for His lovingkindness in the morning, And His faithfulness every night. There have been highs and lows, but that’s life. Every beautiful musical composition has high and low notes and we’ve to have the lows to appreciate the highs. Whilst we’re still breathing we know that God is at work and perfecting that which concerns us. Although we lost some loved ones, we know they’re in a better place and we’ll see them again. For now, we remain confident that we’ll see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living in 2016. He who has begun a good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6).
Come what may, we won’t judge our future by our current circumstances, but by the promises of God which say, “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me…” Psalms 138:8); “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalms 23:1). My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory; The LORD shall preserve me from all evil; He shall preserve my soul. The LORD shall preserve my going out and my coming in (Psalms 121:7-8). Remember, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” (I Thessalonians 5:24). Happy new year!
