On Friday 12th October, there was a meeting of the CPA Executive Committee and Reps from across London, where leadership and best practice was shared and discussed.
Paul Bright, Assistant Director of the Christian Police Association attended to present some of the latest information, news, and suggestions from the national CPA. This is what he said about the event.
“CPA’s Big Brother- yes it’s The Met and on Friday last i had the privilege of being on their turf at Empress State Building (you get neck ache looking at it-3000+ work there daily),sharing some leadership training with their Exec Team and … Borough Reps.
They have over 400 members of CPA (a 6th of national members) and network with 3-4 times that number. Branch Leader, or should i say gang leader, Nick Cornish is a busy guy -Acting Chief Inspector Westminster Proactive and Gangs Units, but Kingdom business is a priority….Take Thomas Bolton from Barnet, he had just finished night shift, got some kip in the multifaith prayer room just so he could be there, and then faced an hour and half journey home after the morning together- that’s commitment!”
